These art dolls are made using either air-dry clay or polymer clay. Both types of clay have very different feels and attributes, meaning that that very different styles of doll can be made. This appeals to me and my desire to be able to produce many different looks and as each doll forms in my mind, I can see which clay will suit it best. No moulds are used with these dolls and each is hand sculpted, so each is individual and unique.
