So after a break for Covid, the wonderful Doll Prague Exhibition returned and the art dolls on display were stunning. It was a feast for the eyes and the soul, with the most wonderful enchanting dolls from all around the world.
Three dolls accompanied me to the magical city of Prague for the exhibition and they were rather squashed on the journey it has to be said. But arrived safe and sound which was the main thing. I made Abagail her own little soft case and Clara and Teddy shared a box.
Froggie and Pip also came, but they came purely for the sightseeing, which they thoroughly loved. Prague is a beautiful city with fairy tale palaces on every street, stunning architecture and towers everywhere. I enjoyed a number of cups of hot mulled wine while I sat well wrapped from the cold and sketched some of the fabulous buildings.
a First and a Third
I couldn’t be more excited and proud to tell you that I won first prize with Clara too. She won first prize in the compact material category. And Teddy won third in the teddy’s friends.

Until next year, when I will hopefully be able to attend again, thank you to all the hardworking, dedicated and talented organisers of the Doll Prague Exhibition. You make it wonderful, magical and the stuff of dreams.
